About the conference

The Future Directions programme is a collaborative approach to quality enhancement in the Welsh higher education sector. The conference is part of a biennial learning and teaching conference series showcasing innovative practice across Wales and beyond. The Future Directions Conference 2014 – Global Graduates: Enabling Flexible Learning will bring together individuals and groups engaged in enhancing the student learning experience and will feature a series of keynote lectures, paper, poster, workshop, discussion and nano-teach sessions.

The Future Directions app puts all the essential conference information at your fingertips and includes the following features:

• Session information
• Session filter by session type
• Speaker information: short biographies, contact information and the sessions/posters they are presenting
• Delegate profiles: short biographies, including contact information for delegates to connect with other attendees prior, during and following the conference
• Itinerary generator: build your own itinerary to help guide you through the day
• Poster session information including favouriting functionality
• Note taking facility specific to each session, with emailing facility
• Exhibitor information: general and contact information about displays in the showcase
• General information: conference and venue information featuring a link through to a map for directions
• Feedback: feedback form and social media integration
